Operating principle & technology

The R-Touch product family is a soft robotic glove that can evoke physiological finger movements and induce neuroplastic changes.

The playful environment creates an interaction between the patient and real objects to help them reach their maximum potential.

R-Touch is available in many versions and accompanies the patient continuously through all phases of upper limb recovery.

Mobilization of the hands

Robotic hand mobilization enables finger movements and various grasping movements even for bedridden patients in the early stages of recovery. In advanced stages, patients handle real objects and perform functional global movements while sitting or standing.

Mirror therapy

The device recognizes the movements of the patient’s healthy hand and transfers them to the affected hand. A therapist can also guide and facilitate the movements of the patient’s affected hand.

Active-assisted hand training

Interactive gamification training encourages patient involvement and only changes the treatment when necessary to support the patient.

Patient-controlled (active and active-assisted) training of the upper limbs

Sensor-based training encourages patients to move in all possible directions. A playful environment encourages grasping movements and therapy can be supplemented with cognitive training.

R-Lead

R-Lead is an innovative upper limb neurocognitive training system designed specifically for patients in advanced recovery. With an engaging virtual environment and customizable exercises, R-Lead supports hand, wrist and arm rehabilitation through sensor-based technology and neurocognitive training. Ideal for developing motor skills and cognitive function.

R-Force

Experience true weightlessness with R-Force and revolutionize patient care! This unique technology makes it possible to relieve 100% of the patient’s body weight and start effective gait training from the very first day of recovery. Thanks to innovative pressure chamber technology, gait training can start early and accelerate the healing process.

R-Gait

R-Gait is an innovative end-effector robot that aims to retrain patients with neurological diseases or after a stroke to walk in a natural gait pattern. By using sensors on special foot plates, R-Gait simulates the typical foot movement and supports the extension of the metatarsophalangeal joints, thereby simulating the push-off phase of the foot as in a natural gait pattern.
