THE MULTI-TREATMENT SYSTEM
Venus Versa uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to treat vascular and pigmented lesions, including hair removal, acne relief and photodynamic therapy (PDT). It also uses nanofractional radiofrequency for skin regeneration as well as multipolar radiofrequency combined with electromagnetic pulse fields for cellulite reduction and skin tightening.

Skin rejuvenation

Acne treatment
The AC Dual IPL applicator combines simultaneously delivered blue and red light with each pulse. The blue light targets and destroys the acne-causing P. acnes bacteria, while the red light reduces inflammation and accelerates the healing process.
NANOFRACTIONAL RF APPLICATOR
Smartscan technology
NanoFractional RF with SmartPulse technology is delivered through a smaller area per pen. The applicator has 160 needle pins (each with a surface area of 38 μm2) delivering 62 mJ per pin. SmartPulse uses a unique algorithm to scan between randomly arranged groups of four pins to deliver energy at variable shock zone densities in a single tip, enabling safe treatments for all skin types. SmartPulse also uses pattern selection technology to create customised patterns for maximum flexibility and control during treatment.

DIAMONDPOLAR & OCTIPOLAR
The DIAMONDPOLAR applicator is used for the face and neck, while the OCTIPOLAR applicator is used for the rest of the body. Both are powered by patented (MP)² technology combining multipolar radio frequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields.
Multipolar radiofrequency
Multipolar radiofrequency (RF) uses a complex algorithm to achieve more homogeneous heating at different tissue depths, allowing heat to build up faster and the therapeutic temperature to be maintained easier. The heating triggers a wound-healing response in the skin by contracting collagen fibres and stimulating fibroblasts. As there are no heat spikes, there is no need for topical cooling agents, and patients perceive the treatment as very comfortable.
Pulsed electromagnetic fields
Pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF), applied at the same time as multipolar radiofrequency, help to create more fibroblasts in the skin, in turn boosting collagen production. PEMF also promotes angiogenesis, thus creating more blood circulation pathways and improving the blood flow to the skin.
The synergistic effect of Multipolar RF and PEMF
(MP)² synergistically increases collagen production through two independent mechanisms. Multipolar RF (thermal) and PEMF (non-thermal). RF directly stimulates fibroblasts, while PEMF stimulates fibroblast proliferation by releasing the growth factor FGF-2. Together, they cause an increase in collagen synthesis. Studies have shown that (MP)² is effective in remodelling collagen for skin tightening and creating new capillaries that regenerate the blood supply.
